Leonard E. Peters

Mr. Peters obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston, graduating magna cum laude with honors from the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barons, and was admitted to practice law in Texas in 1997. Since being admitted he has worked at several firms in Houston, where he worked on projects ranging from complex civil litigation to appellate work. In 2001 Mr. Peters decided to open an office in his adopted home town of Columbus, Texas, where he has practiced ever since handling a wide variety of matters and working closely with his clients to solve their real world problems.

From 2006 to 2007 Mr. Peters held the position of President of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. Currently he resides in Columbus with his wife of 32 years, Sheri Peters, his four children, Aaron, Michael, Zach, and June Ji, and since 2003 has dutifully served the residents of Columbus as Municipal Judge.

Michael Peters obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas, graduating summa cum laude with honors from the John M. Harlan Society, in 2015. While at St. Mary's, he served on the St. Mary's Law Journal. He was admitted to practice law in Texas in November of that same year.

Michael married his wife, Tiffany, in May 2017 and they have two daughters and a son, Katie, Alice, and Isaac.
